Marks in barrel

I can't think of the proper wording to describe this problem, but here goes.

I have a new Beretta 84FS. When looking down the barrel (after it's removed) from the chamber end, I'm noticing these lines that run kinda parallel to the rifling. They are rough, almost pitted looking. I've scrubbed the barrel and they don't come out or get any cleaner.

On the one hand, this pistol is just as accurate than my 92F, so I guess it doesn't affect accuracy any. But it still annoys me and I wonder if there is the potential for buildup or rust along those marks.

Does anyone else have this kind of problem? Should I contact Beretta for a barrel replacement? Are they good about problems like this?

Thanks for any suggestions.

Sounds like tooling marks left over from the barrel rifling process. Since your gun is accurate, I wouldn't worry about it.
