I recentally purchased an old 1911, SN 140xxx, I've determined it was made in early 1917, and I think I've identified all the other marking on the gun but this one.

I'm sure it had something to do with Sacramento Calif, but, other than that I'm at a loss.
The stamping is roughly parallel to the grips between the slide and the back side of the magazine catch.
Does anyone have an idea what these mean?
