"Marked for death"

Let's say you're as popular as the fictional character of John Hatcher (played by Steven Seagal) in the movie, "Marked for Death." Being extremely hard headed, you decide not to do something reasonable like move and that a single handgun is enough to fight off the hoards of hooligans who want you dead. What handgun and how many reloads do you carry?

Draco 7.62x39. With a 40 round RPK mag, and three 30 rounders for backup.

They will learn quickly not to walk on my Lawn.

Sig X-5 in 9mm. One extra 20 round magazine aught to do it; 2 to be extra safe. Not that I would want to carry something like this around for very long, but if I'm to fight off a mob with a handgun, that would be my choice. I am very accurate and quick with it out to 75 feet. It's not much of a challenge to be dead-on accurate with it at 25-50 feet.

If hoards wanted me dead, I think an AR and a half-dozen 30-rounders would be appropriate.
