Greetings all.
I have a Para Ordnance CCW model and want to correct a few flaws on it.
When I put night sights in I put a couple small scratches on the top of the slide. The top has a brushed or satin look and feel to it, it's different than the sides of the slide. To make those scratches look better I took a dremel with a firm polishing wheel to it and while it smoothed the scratches it also left it slick. I'm trying to give it that brushed look again, any suggestions?
On a similar note, my poison dartfrog sweat has caused the back of the flushed hammer and thumb safety to become a gnarley black. I considered a wire type dremel bit. What do you think.
If you don't know what the finish on the slide looks like let me know and i'll try to get a picture on here.
I appreciate your time and help!
Take care.
