If there is a Mak with a 8 round magazine single stack, what capacity magazines would fit it? Russion made btw...how about a high cap 12 rounder or even a 10 rounder?

Night sites available? what is the best brand, and how much should i expect to pay?

Best grip to get?

Russia imported a high capacity Makarov with a staggered, double column magazine... no amount of pounding will get it to cram into the magazine well of a standard Makarov.

Russian magazines (standard 8-rounders, of course) are fine, though I understand others say East Germany paid slightly more attention to quality with their efforts.

My Baikal IJ-70 continues to wear the factory plastic grips with a Hogue Handall Junior slipped over it. Now it has a slight palm swell and finger groove in a nice comfortable rubber grip. I couldn't imagine it feeling any better!

I like the Makawrap grips. Some like the Pearce grips, believe they are supposed to be better for those with larger hands.

Night sights - very expensive, they have to be custom installed or the slide replaced.
