Makarov disassembly

Guy I work with has a Makarov he's had for 4 years and never shot. He feels it needs to be disassembled and cleaned before he takes it shooting (probably wouldn't hurt).

Anyway, I can't remember the exact procedure. Anyone know the correct disassembly technique for the Mak?

Starting with an unloaded pistol:

1. Pull down on trigger guard and push it to one side so that it rests against the frame outside of it's recess.

2. Pull the slide all the way to the rear and lift the back up, then allow it to move forward above the barrel and off.

Make mine lean, mean, and 9x19!

Just one extra note: do NOT put the spring on the barrel backwards. One end is smaller than the other and fits tighter. The smaller end goes over the barrel and snugs down onto the breech ridge.
