Tabing,
Hundred guns? Holy crap!
I've stripped and reassembled a few Maks, and the only difficult part is the trigger transfer bar, or what ever they call it. It has a pin that inserts in the trigger, and a swinging link that pushes up the sear to release the hammer.
I don't know how in hell I got them in right, but it just takes a little fooling around. Basically, the swing link has to be held in the upright position, as it nestles in the frame between the sear and hammer.
You can't hurt a Mak, so take the damn thing apart, and play Rubic's cube till your hearts content!
On the other hand, the only critical area seems to be the firing pin and it's channel, which should be kept reasonably clean to prevent slam fires. That's easy enough to clean with spray cleaner, so you may never need to strip any farther than the slide.
It's still fun to strip a Mak all the way down, and look at the scant handful of parts, wondering how in hell it works so well!
