I have looked at Makarov. com. Can't seem to find any info on the site that relates to lube points. Where and with what do I lube.

Ordered some Barnaul from Dan's, what an easy site to use.
Ammo should arrive in a couple of days.

Tatters,

Here's what The Official Makarov Pistol Manual says (as translated by James F. Gebhardt):

Lubricate the pistol in the following manner:

a. Lubricate the bore of the barrel. Insert a cotton patch in the cleaning rod. Dip the patch in oil. Insert the rod in the barrel from the muzzle end and smoothly pass it through the entire length of the barrel two or three times, in order to cover the entire bore with a thin layer of oil. Lubricate the chamber from the breech end.

b. Lubricate the remaining metal components and mechanisms of the pistol. Lubricate the external surfaces with the aid of an oiled rag. Use an oiled patch over a wooden stylus to lubricate the channels, grooves, and holes. Apply lubricant in a thin, even layer. Excess lubricant on the pistol's components permits accumulation of dirt and can cause it to malfunction.
Do not lubricate the holster. Simply wipe it dry with a cloth.

I use Break Free CLP. HTH
