Maintaining CZ-75 Polymer finish

Greetings,

I just picked up my new CZ-75BD, and am wondering what is the best way to protect the finish.

Since it's polymer-coated, not blued, coating it with CLP or gun oil just results in an oily feel that wears off real quick. I read a post here from someone who uses car wax on their guns. Would this be the best product to use on a polymer finish?

Thanks for any help anyone can give, and best regards to all.

I used CLP on a polymer finished CZ. I removed the excess with a cloth. The CLP penetrates below the surface. You don't need to leave it on. With use and holstering it will wear off at the muzzle and other places. Nothing you can do to prevent this other than not using it for carry.

Never heard of car wax on a pistol. But I guess Turtle Wax has many uses.
