Y yomama Moderator Aug 17, 2007 #1 Just love how clean this stuff is. What does the FMC stand for, and what metal is used in this round? I'm guessing Full Metal Core, guessing lead inside, and copper outside? Also, would this be the same as FMJ?

J Jim Watson New member Aug 17, 2007 #2 Full Metal Case Same as Full Metal Jacket. Lead core, copper alloy jacket. Magtech bullets look kind of yellow, they may use cartridge brass or something with more zinc than gilding metal's 10%.

K kimbratt Inactive Nov 8, 2011 #4 Ammo for Desert Eagle Hello I know so far, that we have to use ammo that is closed so that no led is going in to the Gas system of the DE. FMC and FMJ is the same, so it is not fully closed? We have to use SJ (Semi Jacket), like Magtech SJSP?
