Magtech ammo?

Does anyone have much experience with Magtech ammo (the stuff from Brazil)? I found some cheap, and I was wondering if it is any good. I have heard some good things about their .357, but I will be using it in the 115gr. 9mm variety. Reccomendations? Past problems?

Thanks,

I like the .44 mag. for practice. It seems to work just fine. I can't comment on the 9mm ammo. I have 10 boxes of it setting here
(115 gr. FMJ) but the only gun I shot any out of so far is my Taurus PT-111. I fired about 75 rds. and all of them fired, and ejected fine. It just "lobbed" them into a 2 foot pattern at about 10 yards.( My PT-111 is a real shooter!) I may get a chance today to put some threw one of my other 9's. I'll let you know the results!

Friends of mine who shoot .32 S&W Long pistols in bullseye competition think highly of Magtech's .32 wadcutter ammo. It's cheap, accurate, and reliable.

The .357 is a very hard ammunition with excellent accuracy !
The .44 Magnum is very soft and accurate.
The 9mm 115 gr. is o.k., the 95 gr. SP is very hard and has a funny muzzle-flash.

Unfortunately the ammunition is rather dirty.
But if you don´t mind cleaning, you can get it.
With the .44 Magnum I had 3 duds on 1000 and 2 bursted cases.
All other calibers worked without problems.

I've used some of their ammo, and for what it's worth, the following are my opinions.

9mm 115 gr. FMJ - on par with Federal American Eagle and Winchester White Box.

40 S&W 180 gr. FMJ - same as above.

.38 special 158 gr. LRN - not very accurate.

.357 mag 158 gr. SJSP - best I've ever shot!

All in all, it's hard to beat for the price.
