Will a magazine for a Walther .380 fit a Sig p238 and vice versa?

You mean a PP or PPK mag? I wouldn't expect it to.
A Colt Mustang or Kimber Micro .380 mag would probably fit the SIG, as they're all very similar.

I can't say yes or no with any certainty... But the general rule is mags do not interchange between models and manufacturers unless done so purposefully.

Sometimes the same mag is used, but the cuts for the retention latch are different, in size or location, so they will not work.

I'm going with "no" on this one because the Walther PP and PPK are larger pistols and the magazine catch cutout is in a very different place.
