Magnum Blend Turkey Shells

gotta give a huge plug for the Magnum Blend turkey loads...these shells
will flat out wear a turkey out and the patterns are amazing

Is that mixed shot sizes?
If so there is no advatage at all to mixing shot sizes.
Several gun writers have tested patterns with mixed shot & found no
difference between patterns with mixed shot sizes & the same recipie
with one shot size, all other components being equal.
Francis E. Sell debunked that notion years ago.
Sell was the foremost shotgun load & reload expert in his day.
Sell was experimenting with plated shot, buffered loads, years before the industry
started producing buffered shot shells.
No doubt Hevy-Shot loads pattern well due to the heavier than lead & the
hardness of the shot pellets.
I've patterned it & it's very effiecent & should make a great
waterfowl load.
Lots of hunters around here use it for coyotes.

May be a little late to the party here but have you compared them to the new Winchester Long Beard XR's? I too patterned really well with the magnum blends but I picked up some of the new Winchesters this year and shot crazy tight out to around 60yds with a Remington 887 and a .660 Primos choke tube. Saved a heck of a lot of money too with them being ~$20/10 vs. ~$30/5 of the magnum blends. They are worth a look
