magnetic HIVIZ sight?

These any good? I'm a little skeptical about a magnet holding that sight onto a 12ga.

I used one for a while on my turkey gun. (I sold the gun).

It was a Mossberg 835 Ulti-mag 3 1/2".

Sight never moved. If it was gonna move or fall off, the 835 would have done it. It would bring tears to your eyes with full power turkey loads. I since switched to a Browning Gold Auto to soak up some recoil. Good sight.

I have used both the magnetic and the ones that have double sided tape to hold on with. Neither has seemed to move in actual field use. I suppose if you swipe the muzzle past a tree lightly you would in fact knock it off. I have been satisfied with their performance.

I bought one of those high viz magnetic sights for my o/u yesterday .I havent shot it yet but it seems very firm on the rib . The green stick seems to catch the light far better than the orange one does .

i've been using one on my trap gun for two years. i love it. its quite solid. its even difficult to remove if you need to. its the best thing in the world for shooting trap at night under the lights. if i get any more shotguns in the future, each one will wear on of these sights. well worth the $15 or so.
