I'm trying to figure out which gun a magazine goes to. I've had a couple of .380's, one was a Browning BDA the other was a Beretta. I no longer have either gun but I found a magazine in my vault and I would like to know which gun it goes to.

That looks like a Beretta 84 or Browning BDA 380 magazine. The two pistols are very similar and accept the same magazines.
There should be a corresponding rectangular cutout on the front RH side of the body for the reversible magazine catch; this may be obscured by the poor focus of the first photo, however.

But I do feel your pain.
There's an intake manifold that's been hanging around the garage here for decades.
No idea what it fits, but just can't throw it away and get it out of my life.
Thought about it some, but can't quite do it.
