magazine pull attachments, where do i find?

Been looking into getting into some pistol competitions. I have a Charles Daly Hi-Power (Clone of the Browning) 9mm. I ordered new magazines for it and some equipment I will need. I am noticing when practicing that I am having trouble controlling the magazine from the gun to the belt and bringing new one in. Are there components that can be added to the bottom of the magazine that will help pull it out faster and hold on to it easier? The small metal lip doesn't seem to be cutting it.

If you're going to shoot IDPA or USPSA modifying a gun can move you into a different division. A magazine well funnel will put you into Limited for USPSA. A longer magazine release will put you into ESP for IDPA, but not affect classification of the gun in USPSA.

Perhaps I'm missing something here, but once a magazine is dry I want it to drop free. There is plenty of time after the stage to pick up empty magazines. I do add bumpers to my magazines to add a little weight to the base of the magazine, but I don't want to have to extract an empty magazine from the well.
 
Some HP users remove the mag safety to allow the mags to drop free.
That also lightens the trigger pull some.

Good point. I also have a CD HP and removing the mag disconnect made huge difference in the trigger pull on my gun, as well as the bonus of the mags dropping freely.
 
I wont have a magazine that wont fall clear of the gun empty under its own weight, when I hit the mag release.
 
Some guys make and sell weighted base plates for magazines for competition. The weight of the heavy base plate tugs the mag out of the gun. They are usually brass or steel.
 
Back in my IPSC days, I just made my own bump pads out of a thick piece of rubber and glued them to the magazine base with a epoxy.
