Magazine Pouches

butt cuff

I can't help you with mag pouches/web gear exactly.

But, I purchases a Blackhawk butt cuff/pouch for on the collapsible stock of our M4 carbines (semi) at work and have a become a big fan.

Grab the rifle, and a reload is already on board and readily available. No fooling with pouches, snaps or webbing. To facilitate keeping the balance of the carbine, I use a 20 rd mag, loaded w/ 15 rds in the pouch, notably lighter than an all up 30 rounder.

With a bit of practice, a fast reload (even if not proven essential) is easily obtained.

Are you attaching to MOLLE or a belt?

I bought a Blade Tech Kydex double mag belt holder

And This AR mag holder, which came highly recommended.

Those 2 are for my belt which also hold my sidearm.

Then I got this to hold spare rifle mags and 1 MOLLE pistol mag holder.
During training you only use the vest to restock the belt, unless you really have to go through more than 2 Ar mags quickly.
This vest allows lots of room on the sides to draw your sidearm without interference.
I know its seems Tactikool to wear a chest rig, but for training classes it is the best option imo
