I was looking for 8rd mags for my newly acquired Commander yesterday. One of the local gun shops had an 8rd 1911 mag that was from EAA. It's made of steel and appears to be blued. It has a rubber base pad that looks very much like one of the Pachmayr pads. The follower is chrome plated and has a rounded raised top. The package says it's made in Italy.
Anybody have any idea who makes these? Maybe Mec-Gar? Are they any good?
