Magazine for S&W 645

Anybody know if a S&W 4516 45ACP 8 rd magazine will work in a S&W 645?

Also, what do you think about Pro Mag magazines?

I'm having some problems locating 8 rd magazines for my S&W 645.

eagle, the S&W4506 is the most common full size .45acp 8 round, and you should see them used for about $15 at gun shows or mail order, such as KY imports. The S&W4516 is a compact and will not fit. The 645 is also common to the 745, 845, and 4546.

I was thinking about giving Midway some
business anyway (since they support the NRA),
so I'll go ahead and order some factory mags from them.
 
I was under the impression that Midway wasn't going to carry any S&W product because of the "Agreement".

In any case, as was posted before, the 4516 mag will not work in the fullsize 4506. Any mag made for a full size non-945 style Smith .45 will work. The 645/745 mags had a metal base and follower while the later model 4506 (and other variations) mags have a plastic base and follower (black, orange or yellow).
