mag. spring tension.

Question? Does leaving a mag. with a full load of rounds over an extended period of time (weeks or years) have any effect on the spring tension? It would not be a good thing to find out that the mag. spring was too weak to deliver the last couple of rounds in a tense situation!!

A good spring, operating within it's design parameters, will not be affected within your lifetime by remaing loaded.

Cycling of the spring will eventually cause it to weaken.

Any corrosion will also ruin em.

Magazines

I think leaving a new magazine loaded for a week or so actually helps it's reliability by helping everything "settle in."
