Mag Makers

I've been checking into spare mags for my new Ruger P95. I've read that pre-ban 15-round factory mags for older P series 9mms will fit, and it seems that some aftermarket mag makers still have some. Any opinions on Pro-Mag versus Mec-Gar versus USA Mag? Any other good sources?

Mecgars are the best aftermarket mags, Pacmyers if you can find them are also good. Promag and Ramline if you don't have the above choices. All others are junk...C&C, Triple K,USA.

My experience with Mec-Gar has been excellent(P99 and p11), while the USA mags I've used have been horrible (AR-15). From what I'm told, others have had similar experience.

I think that most Rugers will do OK with USA mags. My buddy's P89 has never coughed with the many USA, ProMag, no name just blued and crude, or whatever other type of preban he has used.
