Maybe? But in one sense, I don't care as long as she is enjoying the sport. She just might teach her kiddies and promote the sport. I don't know if she is anti or pro freedom, but she is doing the responsible thing by learning proper handling and firing techniques. So good for her. Maybe, just maybe, she'll understand the pro-gun issue. The second amendment is not a conservative or liberal issue. It's actually a non-partisan issue. The more pro-gun liberals that we convert, the better.

If that was a picture of a celebrity viewed as conservative (vs. a pagan like madonna), I imagine the article would cast doubts on his/her civil consciousness, hinting that the shooter supports the evil practice of gun sports.

Questions:
1. What is a "toff"?
Madonna, arguably, has achieved celebrity far beyond her talents by "reinventing" herself. She has always used socially "rebellious" themes to spice up her act (i.e., nudity, religion, sex, etc.).
Now, suspend reality for a second... if Madonna's new-found interest in hunting and shooting became part of her "image" (guns - the ultimate rebellion, at least from the liberal artists & media viewpoint)...
2. Would she be demonized, or could "guns" become the latest cutting-edge fad?
Picture it: scores of trendy trap&skeet ranges springing up in Hollywood...prices of collectible shotguns bid up 100 times by rich stars...shooting vests and glasses the new fashion statement. Stranger things have happened??? (Anyone recall the movie "Get Shorty", how green mini-vans became all the rage?)
