Made me a holster

It's an exact repical of what Wyatt Earp used at the Alamo. :D

I actually had a real holster for this weapon, but with the red dot I'd have to spend big bucks on a custom.

This one was made from an Amazon box, some duck tape and some rope.

Should help me haul this beast into the woods for hunting and it's semi waterproof!

Great problem solving! Honestly, I think it will perform the fundamental role of a holster quite serviceably. I once made an axe sheathe from the exact same materials, and it did quite well for a summer's worth of camping.

In a pinch, when you need it right now, whatever works is always good.
Don't think you'd want to pass that "heirloom" holster on to your grandchildren though. ;)

.

Just think of the possibilities . . . they make duct tape in a wide variety of colors now . . . I'd classify that one as the "economy model" . . . use pink tape for the ladies and you could call it the "princess model" :D

Attaboy, SuperSneak, you've discovered use # 2,654,315 for Duck Tape!....I'm passing your pic along to my sons! Great post...Rod

lol Wyat Earp at the alamo...lamo... If the had duct tape at the alamo they would have been able to holdout.

Seriously looks like what we called a perp holster.

Quality materials and superb workmanship always show through. I've never seen leather with such a sheen before, reminds me of a full moon over the Wannahicky.

LOL!

I have made a few holsters out of old fashioned material like leather. Good to see what modern holster making is all about, using the most up to date materials. *goes to throw out all leather tools and outdated materials*

Yep, and Wyatt Earp would have survived the Alamo to help out at the OK corral.

Wait a second...???

Actually way to many wrinkles for a professional job, remember wrinkled duct tape is a sign of poor workmanship..:D
