This design is based on one I made for my Kimber K6, and liked it so much that I decided to try and make one for my semi auto Sig P230. Love this gun!
The holster is designed for AIWB with a forward muzzle cant for easier draw and so that the grip is level with the belt line for more concealment.
2nd photo shows how slim this is with the J clip in line with the trigger instead of along the slide area, an idea borrowed from the vanguard trigger holsters and the revolver holster I made. A very flat package.
I found that the matt black plastic clip `doesn't show up as much as the shiney black metal clips, and it has enough give that the shirt can be tucked behind the clip.
To bond the muzzle tip together, I drilled small holes and used leather thread instead of a larger rivet. Pistol is held very securely and draws very smooth! The kydex seems to distribute the weight more evenly than any leather holsters I have made or worn.
