too bad the MMMer's can take a REAL lesson from MADD

Just to set the record straight, I'm not sure where you got this info, but check your source.

The MADD website expressly says in the press release on the Bush DUI that as a 501(c)3 , they cannot endorse any political candidate. They will say only that "we believe people can change", and it goes on to thank both Bush & Gore for their support over the years.
 
I saw a woman briefly on CNN the other night ... don't recall her name, but she was identified as the founder and / or President of MADD.

There was no question about her stand ... she stated that they had no problem with Bush's DUI, since it was 24 years ago, and he had quit drinking. I don't recall if she / MADD expressly endorsed Bush, but it was clear they turned the DUI 'bombshell' into the BS it clearly was.

I think this DUI bit was another great example of how the Democrats are often such lowly dogs.

Ive heard speculation on the boortz talk show a couple of days ago and today by caller Ross Perot, that the release of that information was hours prior to perot's endorsement of bush on the larry king show and as a result no one heard of the endorsement, but everyone heard of the dui..........now we know its not an aspirin factory, but it sounds like clinton, smells like clinton....it must be a clinton
