I have a Military Armament Corp. .380 (refered to as MAC's).
This is an original Ingram designed open-bolt distributed by ALCOA (Armaments Leasing Corp. Of America). All paperwork, manual and catolog including signed letters and price guides are with this neat little pistol.
Also have 2 32 rd mags, 1 20 rd. mag one heat reducer and one false suppresor, and original loading tool.
the gun was test fired in '73 when purchased and has not been fired since.
the problem is i have to put this gem on my insurance and i have no idea what its worth. the pricing guide is dated April 19 (weird) 1972 from Cromwell who apparently was a contractor and stated $147.00.
The paperwork from ALCOA is dated june 14 '72.
collection also includes mint copy of shooting times December '71 featuring " THE INGRAM COMPACT SUBMACHINE GUNS"
If anyone here is been in this game for 30 years and might know what the value is i would really appreciate it. if not then i'll just store it at the bank in the SDB.
thanks alot.
