We have just (almost) sold out of raffle tickets for the Bob Stewart Legal Defense Fund <www.maadigriffin.com> the raffle is closed.

The rifle is now being detailed by a local FFL who is also trying to find a donated (and hardy) scope for the dang thing.

All that and 50 rounds of .50 BMG from Thunderbird Cartridge to the winner.

The drawing has been moved up from the dated printed on the stub (Oct. 28) and is being moved up to Wednesday, September 20th at the Tempe, Arizona Country Harvest Buffet meeting room at 7pm to 9pm.

Along with the raffle there will be a meeting of the major gun rights groups in the Phoenix area such as Second Amendment Sisters, Az Rifle and Pistol Assoc, GOA, JPFO, AzWAGC, and others. Also present will be Alan Korwin of www.gunlaws.com and Angel Shamaya of www.keepandbeararms.com . For those of you in the Phoenix-area, we will not be engaging in BS, so come ready to activate.

It was covered for a few days in the Phoenix press (not front page) nor prominently featured on TV or radio. Not enough facts were out for anyone to comment clearly. A few days later when we found out what actually happened, the press didn't care. There was another blurb during his hearing which set the trial date. I suspect when (if) the trial begins on Sept 11 there may be more stories.

As it stands now, we have gotten enough time to finance his initial defense, and thanks to this raffle, his appeal, if needed.

You can still get a Maadi-Griffin rifle, btw. Go to www.maadigriffin.com and follow the link. There is a Phx-area manufacturer (Extreme something er other) that he is going through.

Support liberty. Buy a Model 89.
