I happened across this rifle at a nearby pawn shop yesterday
the bore looks bright and sharp, about a 7-8 out of ten (used a bore light)
and it'll probably clean up a bit better
90%+ bluing, stock looks original, not re-finished, w/ the usual dings and gouges, but no cracks
has the cleaning rod, SA stamp on the left side of the receiver and the letter S followed by 447xx
serial # 1008XX, and the letter C on top with a '1' and AZF stamped on the hexagon barrel
oh, it it had these strange looking swivels w/ a rod thru the stock, fore and aft for the sling
and the barrel was stepped down about 3 inches from the end
small, hard to see CAI import mark underneath end of barrel, along w/ M91 Finland
that's about all I can remember at the moment
owner asking $350
since I don't know anything about Finns -
deal, or no deal?
what else should I look for, the next time I give her a look over?
