This is a test of the Army's new M855A1 62 gr EPR fired from 11.5" AR into calibrated 10% ordnance gelatin.
If anyone knows the BC for this projectile, please post so we can correlate this to approximate down range performance for longer barrels.
I had one more of these and I used it to test TTM/Spartan's new level III+ plate. I hope to get that test up sometime next week.
Let me know what you think. I think that M855A1 appears to outperform M193 and M855 in every way and it seems to outperform Mk318 in at least barrier penetration. The early, almost instant, bullet upset is what really stands out to me.
