Remington builds its "short magnums" (3.34" +/- OAL) on a long action (3.65" +/- magazine). Does Winchester do the same, or do they build 2 distinctly different-length actions?
Winchester is the same as Remington. They have a short action for the .308 size of cartridges and a long action for all the rest, including the .375 H&H.
