M7 bayonet, very loose, rattles

Is it supposed to do that, or is mine just messed up? It rattles a lot, it is very annoying. =( How about the M9, does that do that?

edit: it rattles mainly because it rotates back and forth

I have an AR15 and an M1 Garand, and the bayo rattles on both of them, especially the M1. They are both USGI bayonets, an M7 and a WWII 10in blade.

So YOUR the one.... I was wondering who the liberals were targeting with the anti-bayonet legislation Yeah, they do rattle. Both the M7 and the newer style. So much for the eliment of surprise in those drive-by bayonet-ings.
