M1D Garand Sniper?

Well ok ... saw this thing in www.miltecharms.com I think ... and I'm wondering ... is this thing worth it? Now the pic shows only a side profile, but the position of the scope right above the ammo feed makes no sense ... unless it's tilted to one side? is that the case?

If you did want to put a scope on a Garand, what would be the best way to go about it?

yes the scope is off to one side. and from what i know about the M1D Garand from Miltech it is worth the $$ if you have it, and if you looking to git an M1D Garand is about the only your going.

Thanks, DUDE. Question is, saw a scope mount on the Fulton Armory site for their Garands. What is that about? Didn't look like it was off to an angle?

Also, can someone tell me if that "T37 Prong Flash Suppressor" Miltech has on their M1D is worth anything?

I don't know anything about the Miltech rifle. Authentic "M1D"s with documentation are in the 2k range. Recently, there are a lot of "M1D"s without documentation. These rifles are being put together from parts, and, no they are not worth the same money as a documented M1D. Don't be taken.
