OK, Invert the rifle and listen for piston to clunk, if piston does not clunk, time to clean it. Got it. Tried it, no clunk, time to clean.

Cleaned the piston, cleaned the well. Put it back together DRY as book reccommends, retried clunk test, still no clunk. I cleaned it good, went together dry, whats up?

Rifle functions ok, should I worry about it?

Also....

Clean out the gas cylinder, and make sure everything is DRY , no oil. Lock the bolt to the rear and try "clunk" drill.
