M1A mags source

I know that GI mags are best for M1A. They are pretty pricey even you go to coles distributing.

Tapco has M1A mags in stock. They are about $15 each. I know they may be manufactured by USA Mag. Are they good?

NO!!! Been there, done that. Save your money and buy some good mags. If you buy the $15 ones, it just makes the good ones you will buy cost $15 more. Coles, that you mentioned had them for $31, I think. Sometimes I can find used USGI at the gun shows for $20 to $25. It is better to have fewer good mags than a bunch of crappy ones. Just my $.02.

Halffast is 100% right in his post. I did the non-GI mag thing one time..I like to think I can learn from my mistakes.

Vince rather learn form your mistakes and get junk.....Learn from OUR mistakes and save yourself money. Think to your self and repaet over and over USGI< USGI< USGI<USGI and you wont go wrong.
