M1A folding stock questions

Several years ago I bought a folding stock for my M1A "bush rifle" from an individual. I recently saw an old Springfield armory catalog and the same stock was pictured in an ad for the BM59 so this may be what I have even tho it fits the M1a perfectly.
I am considering selling this stock but need some info:
1. Legal Issues
can it be sold (who/where)? attached to pre-ban only?
2. Value?
It is in excellent condition, walnut stock, brown 'bakelite' pistol grip, parkerized collapsable steel shoulder stock with button release behind reciever, rubber butt, side sling swivels.
An acquaintance suggested I look for a used M1A1 and put them together to sell at a bigger profit but I'm not looking for trouble. cash yes, fed charges no.
I can get a pic posted if necessary.
TIA

Folding stocks and bayonet lugs are legal on pre-ban M1As but NOT legal on post-ban M1As. For Springfield Armory, the cutoff (9-13-94) serial number is about 084xxx. I assume we are not discussing California law but federal law.

Kingcreek, I would not sell it unless you sell as a unit..........you can get more for the whole set up
