M1A firing pin

After many years of excellent service, and about 10K rounds, and lots of dry firing my M1A firing pin looks battered, and needs replacing. Who makes the best one, and how do I replace it? or send it to a smithy? Thanks and always shoot safe.

Get a GI chrome plated one. Lasts the longest.

If the battering is at the FP tail...

Is yours a Springfield with serial number over 50K? Check the web of the receiver to see if that is causing the problem.
