I've bought a smith ent. extended boltstop in hopes of adding a function to my m1a that i think would be useful in a "high stress" situation. my Q is,has anyone reading this done so,and what is some feed back on the sadlak spring guide. i'm also thinking of buying a springfeild scope mount does it maintain zero effectivly. My m1a is a springfeild and has served me well target shooting and tactical practice with a folding stock to shorten lenth of pull has anyone come up with a way to mount a T6 stock other than people who have enough money to buy a sage or troy.:

That's an awful lot of jumbled questions....

I'd stay away from the Springfield scope mounts - get one that attaches to the clip guid as well as the mount point on the side.

Ditto on avoiding the Springfield Armory scope mount. They do not have a reputation for durability or repeatability.

Get a Brookfield (if you can find one), Enterprise (copy of Brookfield) or Sadlak (also a copy of Brookfield).

Boltstop, approved by bucky and vinny.

The extended boltstop from smith ent. works great easy to install eventhough the person on the phone(when I ordered it) tried to scare me with worse case senario's a.e. cracking receiver drifting the rollpin out and fitting stop so that does not interfere with bolt operation. I fix cars for a living and have found out that if you take your time you can make just about anything work. Thanks for the info on the scope mount will try and track down one of them.
