M1A cheeckpiece

Well, I took some advice I got here and ordered a few cut stocks from Fred's and have made me a pretty snazzy cheekpiece for my NM M1A It bolts on and off and is just what I needed. Can anyone tell me what finish I should use to try to match the color of the original Springfield stock color. It's an oil rubbed finish isn't it? Thanks for any advice.

do not know about the refinish but on the same vein as your cheekpiece. i had a cherokee full wrap aroung cheekpeice for my ar. after up grading to the newer easy on/off one, i tried selling it. i could not give it away. so after some serious staring at it (and the fact that i have a black glass s/armory stock. i deciede what the hell. i cut it! now i have a nice (and cheap) easy on and off (so tight) it almost snaps on, cheekpiece. the only cosmetic flaw is the area in the front where the ar charging handle comes back to. oh well i couldn't sell it so why not improvise.
