A AlaskaMike New member Apr 29, 2020 #4 Looks great! Did you change out any of the internals? I see it's got a newer short action hammer. Also, is "Marcas Registradas" common on M1917s? I always thought that was a post-wwII thing. Great photos and a nice revolver!

L laytonj1 New member Apr 29, 2020 #6 Nice gun but not a model 1917. It is a post WWII short action frame, most likely a 45 Hand Ejector Model of 1950. Jim Last edited: Apr 29, 2020

B Brian Williams New member May 6, 2020 #11 Nice working revolver, would make for a formidable back country carry gun.
J jonnyc New member May 6, 2020 #13 Looking back at my pics, I realized that since then I did fit the grips and Tyler a bit better.
4 4V50 Gary Staff May 6, 2020 #14 Didn't care for Tyler grip adapters when I was younger. Just get a bigger grip. Now that I'm wiser, I'm all for them. Your "bulk" will be less with a Tyler and concealment better.
