I recently acquired a M1917 Enfield that has had the "ears" & rear sight removed. There are 2 screw holes in the receiver bridge where the rear sight was (one is in the oval hole). Can anyone tell me what size they are. I tried a 6-32 & a 6-48 screw. They're close, but not quite.
