M1917 barrels

I want to replace the long, tapered barrel on my 1917 with a shorter heavy barrel. I plan on milling the top strap and installing an adjustable rear sight to match the new barrel. Does anyone know where I can find a new (or used) barrel?
 
Gun Parts Corp had NEW 1917 Smith and wesson barrel two years ago (from brazil i think) Not sure about Colts.. but that would be the first place to try.

Colt's custom shop used to make "fitz" specials out of 1917's but the usually just involved cutting down the barrel and lopping off the front half of the trigger guard (scary!)
