m1911 ball spam cans?

so I recently acquired a supply of m1911 ball ammo in 600 round spam cans. I've already looked up how to date it and my particular stock was manufactured in 1942 and inspected and repacked in 1943. stuff actually works great aside from running dirty. I'm seeing them advertised online but none of the sites have correlating information aside from who the manufacturer was.
my question does anyone have any information as to what materials were used in it's manufacture?

it looks like a copper jacket bullet and nickel or brass washed steel but that's pure guessing on my part

also I'm seeing them going for $450-500 online which is a lot more than what I picked it up for so if any of you are collectors I have 3 unopened spam cans if any one would like to purchase. if you could consider my opened can a lot inspection, still works like a dream, still airtight and not a single sign of corrosion

To the best of my knowledge, the US Millitary used corrosive primers until the mid 50s, so be aware of that if you shoot it.

it IS corrosive but I clean my gun out after every use so I'm not worried about it, guess some extra info I forgot about

ok a little further information I've been able to piece together from other forums asking about the same stuff.

ammunition was manufactured by the Chrysler corporation in 1942 in Evansville Indiana.
It was originally packaged in cardboard boxes that were dipped in wax to keep out moisture but the south pacific was too hot and the wax melted so in 1943 Chrysler and the American Can Company began repacking the ammo in non-wax coated boxes and sealing them in spam cans.
