I have boat loads of 7.62 NATO and .308 WIN
So much in fact, that I went and purchased a budget bolt action rifle.
Anyway, when reevaluating my ammunition inventory I came across several boxes of ammo with XM118LR stamped on the box; with additional printing 20 CRTG 7.62 MM LONG RANGE M118.
Here is a photo of one of the boxes just opened so the head-stamp can be viewed.
Can anyone tell if this is real M118LR or if it is some cheap knock-off?
I’ve bought much of this ammunition from a couple of people who lost interest in guns several years ago. That’s why I’m not sure of where and when it was originally sold.
