CMP is the Civillian Marksmanship Program. You can't just buy a rifle through them. Others will surely post more details!

If you are a veteran or an LEO the firing is waived. If it's a shooter the Danish is probably the way to go. If you want to trust your luck of the draw, get the $500 one. Yes you can get lucky...........mine is a SA with the original barrel.............tight muzzle and a great bore with no appreciable TE, plus all SA parts. I realize that I was VERY lucky, but others can be too. IMHO CMP is by far the best way to go.
