M1-D Garand Sniper Rifle

Hello, does anyone know how to lace up the M1-D Garand Cheek Pad. Is their any Govt. Tech. Manuals that show the correct way to do it? Thanks for any info on this subject.:confused:
 
I believe you'd have a better chance at good info in the Art of the Rifle forum. I'll move your thread over there for you.

Hi, Robert. I've got a copy of the Tech Manual for the M1, M1C and M1D that shows the stitching and screws close-up, but it doesn't tell how to locate or thread them. It looks pretty simple, though, and it's the way I did the lacing on my M1D (ex-Danish, Springfield Armory, for $400 Canadian :-).) If you want, send me your snail-mail address, and I can send you a photocopy.
