M1 Carbine parts source

I've recieved some GM/Inland M1 Carbine parts from a friend that I'd like to make into a complete carbine again.

I have a barreled reciever with the piston, slide, and barrel sleeve/ayonet lug installed. It also has the stock with buttplate, buttplate screw and handgaurd. All other parts, springs, oiler/sling, and screws are missing.

I've got a exploded parts diagram and have a pretty good idea of what I'm missing, but would like to know if anybody has good ideas on what to do about getting a package deal on parts since buying every last screw, action, trigger housing, and bolt part separately from Fulton or Numrich etc. is going to be expensive.

Numrich has dewat display M1 carbines for $128 that I thought I might scavenge off of, but they don't describe if the de-milling is in the reciever/barrel (which I already have), or in other parts I need like the bolt.

Any suggestions?

You may or not be aware of these sources. So, search for the web sites of

Numrich Gun Parts

Sarco, Inc., Gun Parts

Also, there is a good forum for you to visit at

www.jouster.com

Good luck.

Thanks for the input so far. I looked over the M1 Carbine forum at Jouster, and I have been going over the list at Gun Parts Corp./Numrich for awhile now. They had a complete parts kit minus reciever for $214 but are sold out. :(

I also checked the CMP site and thier prices are good, but they only carry hammer springs, triggergaurd assemblies, the slide (which I have) and the recoil spring guide. The complete trigger assembly, minus hammer for $44 is a good price though.

I was also hoping someone would have a line on a parts kit I could use as a donor for this barrel and reciever?
