M1 Carbine help

Just picked up a Rockola in really nice condition. The only problem I have is the slide not going all the way forward when firing. It only takes a little push to close. I replaced the return spring with a new Wolff and it still does the same thing. ???????????? Thanks for your advice/suggestions.

Are you using reloads? M1 Carbine ammo is critical about triming cases.

If that's not the case, its hard to say without examining the rifle.

You go to this forum and ask these guys, Lot of knowledge about carbines from those guys.
