M&p performance center core

Has anyone gotten ahold of these yet? How much better did it perform compared to a regular m&p and also the vtac? I'm going to get a 9 in a 4.25 barrel and would like some advice from anyone who has compared all three hands on.

A friend of mine has one; he's started shooting it using a Burris reflex sight. He's back to the iron sights for local competition. He replaced the trigger recently, I can't remember the name of the new trigger. I've shoot the gun several times, before and after the new trigger, using both sights. Very nice gun in my opinion. I considered buying one. When I asked him and my LGS owner what they thought, their response was to get it if I wanted to compete. Otherwise, I had other 9mm pistols just for shooting. I'm still thinking about getting one.

I'm a huge M&P fan. I haven't shot one but have played with them in the shop. Seems like a nice gun. Trigger is pretty good, though I'd probably still go with an Apex FSS. There's just nothing better on the market. The CORE feature is pretty slick and I like the slide cuts of the PC. I might even go as far as to put a standard barrel back into it because I don't care about porting, but I like the cuts.

The VTAC is a really gun, but the ONLY difference is fancy color and neat sights. If you don't care about either, the VTAC is pointless for you.

Yea I like the fact that those sights on the vtac glow (I think they do) and I do love that color. I really like how the ports look on the performance center & the fact that it had an already upgraded trigger is a plus. I havnt had an opportunity to try an apex trigger. I own a m&p 9c (two tone drk earth/black) and have only put 100 rounds through it. I'd like to put another couple 100 to see how much better it gets as it breaks in. I don't care much for the use of the ported barrel I mean I don't really care of any less of a recoil for something as small as a 9. But I guess it'd be nice to be competion ready if I decided to pick up the hobby.
