I found a used M&P 40 shield M2.0 for $475. Is this a fair price or no?

What do they normally sell for new?No. That’s more than I see them for new online.

Seems a bit high. I've seen a used 45 Shield at a gun show table back in Feb '20 for $325. I would have jumped on it but was to slow to pull out my $$$$s. IMHO, negotiate for less $$s or "walk".

I’m going to be that guy for a second and say Google is a thing. Look up the sku on S&W’s website, search that sku, and you’ll get that link. Now that’s for the non safety model. If you want a different model then search that sku.

IMHO used prices are tough to assess because Smith dumped new Shield1.0 on the market last fall for $250.
Depending on what sale you catch a Shield 1.0 can now go as low as $300. And 2.0 for less than $400. New.
Sportsman’s has your gun for $319.
