So after long debate and research decided to go with an M&P 10. Main purpose is for tactical / pig hunting I've heard some of most important things to upgrade are trigger and barrel. Anyone have any insight as to what I should go after to upgrade immediately?

Geissele trigger? What type of barrel etc? Please let me know.
 
See how the factory barrel shoots first. No sense in spending hundreds to replace it if it's going to shoot just as well anyways. I would free float it if it isn't already that could have a bigger effect than a whole new barrel.

Me personally I liked fixed stocks as well, and if you're gonna scope it you'll have to maintain eye relief anyways which IMO renders a telescoping stock pointless.
 
You will be amazed how easy that rifle shoots and the accuracy it has. Shoot it and get to know it well, buy ammo and if necessary a nice trigger. Don't hang stuff on the rifle or it will gain weight quickly.
